Who we are
We are specialists in the manufacture and supply of advanced intermediates and building blocks, including aromatic, heterocyclic and aliphatic compounds, fluorochemicals and life sciences reagents. With unrivalled service and expertise in the sourcing and manufacture of available and novel products, we offer the support you need to take your project from concept to completion. Our story
Founded in 1993 in Stockport, we have almost 30 years’ of experience and have grown significantly from our early beginnings as a small research chemical supplier in the UK to establishing a global presence. Along the way we’ve built an extensive catalogue range, expanded our UK laboratory and office facilities and even launched a new stock location in the US to improve service delivery to our customers across the globe. Our purpose however, has and always will continue to remain the same; to support discovery.
What we do
Global catalogue supplier – with more than 25,000 products in stock of over 100,000 listed, we’re your first port of call for research chemicals including intermediate building blocks, fluorochemicals, life sciences reagents, high purity inorganics, deuterated solvents and spectroscopy consumables. We boast a 95+% same day dispatch rate for our stock items, and have Authorised Economic Operator and Known Consignor status, ensuring customs compliance and reducing transit times.
Bulk specialist - By offering process development and scale up services as part of the Central Glass Group, we are your complete solution for all bulk projects. Our ability to transfer our catalogue compounds to commercial quantities through our in-house group companies and carefully selected manufacturing partners means you do not have to go through the project transfer cycle – easing your sourcing process and adding value.
Manufacturing partner - Our in-house manufacturing facilities based in the UK, enable us to undertake a wide variety of tasks, including custom synthesis, scale-up of existing routes, technology transfer to our commercial partners and development of novel compounds for our catalogue.
