Seeking Referrals: Future QC Leadership Opportunities – North West UK (Pharma/CMO)

As part of our ongoing succession planning for future senior hires, I’m looking to connect with and build a network of exceptional Quality Control leaders who may be open to opportunities in the North West UK — now or in the future.

We're especially interested in individuals with a proven track record in GMP-regulated QC environments, who combine deep technical expertise with strategic leadership capability. This is part of a long-term talent mapping process, and any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

The Future Opportunity

We anticipate requirements for senior QC professionals who can:

• Lead and inspire high-performing analytical teams

• Oversee method transfer, stability studies, and QC operations

• Act as the named QC Manager on MHRA MIA (IMP) licences

• Represent QC during regulatory inspections and client audits

• Drive continuous improvement through lean or Six Sigma

• Partner with QA and GMP manufacturing to ensure timely product release

 Ideal Background

• Degree or PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or related field

• Leadership experience in GMP Quality Control (pharma or CMO preferred)

• Strong client engagement and regulatory inspection experience

• Deep knowledge of analytical method development and validation
