ITS are thrilled to announce that Trina Ives, has been appointed as the Committee Chair for the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, North East Region (ISPE NE).
With over 23 years of experience within the life sciences sector, Trina's appointment signifies a new era of leadership and innovation. Trina's journey in the industry has been marked by her energetic approach to her roles coupled with an unwavering commitment to excellence. As the Life Sciences Key Account Manager at ITS, she plays a pivotal role in shaping marketing strategies, driving business development initiatives and helping pharmaceutical customers improve their performance. Her expertise in navigating the intricacies of the life sciences sector has solidified her reputation as a leader and visionary.
Having joined ISPE eight years ago, Trina's dedication to professional growth and industry collaboration has been unwavering. Her long-standing association with ISPE has not only enriched her knowledge but has also allowed her to actively contribute to the association's mission of advancing pharmaceutical engineering. Trina joined the NE Committee at the end of 2022 and she has wasted no time in making an impact.
With her dedication and support, the committee recently organised two highly successful events. The first event was a site tour of Sterling Pharma Solutions, including presentations on critical topics such as New Product Introduction and Transition to Established Product Manufacture, as well as NPI and High Hazard Chemistry. These presentations provided attendees with valuable insights into practices and emerging trends in the pharmaceutical manufacturing landscape.
The second event, PharmaFest, was a unique social networking opportunity held at Three Brothers Brewery in Stockton on Tees. Attendees had a brewery tour which served as an engaging backdrop for the networking event, creating a relaxed and informal setting for professionals to connect and share ideas.
Commenting on her appointment, Trina expressed her enthusiasm for the new challenge, stating, "I am delighted to be appointed as Chair and absolutely loving the new challenge. The NE committee is a friendly and devoted team, and we all work exceptionally well together.
