Stream Bio launches LINKBRIGHT™ rapid conjugation kits for antibodies and oligonucleotides Stream Bio, a UK-based company that develops and manufactures a range of innovative life science products, is delighted to announce the launch of its new rapid conjugation kit, LINKBRIGHT™, which will allow quick and easy linkage of Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles (CPNs™) to antibodies and oligonucleotides. The LINKBRIGHT™ kits will enable those without access to specialist chemistry capabilities the opportunity to use CPNs™ in their research.

Stream Bio’s CPNs™ are innovative molecular probes that have been successfully validated across many life science applications. CPNs™ have been shown to be up to 1000 times brighter than Qdots and other conventional fluorophores, and provide stability across wide ranges of pH and temperature. These non-toxic and magnetic probes are available in colours spanning the visible and near-infrared spectrum.

The new LINKBRIGHT™ kits will enable covalent linkage reactions to be conveniently carried out. The kits offer a straightforward set-up, requiring only five minutes of handling time followed by incubation for either 30 or 60 minutes. LINKBRIGHT™ makes it simple and quick to conjugate CPNs™ to antibodies and oligonucleotides, offering improved sensitivity and bioimaging capabilities when compared to alternative fluorophores. This provides benefits for a wide range of fluorescent applications, such as western blot, targeted cell imaging and tracking, flow cytometry and lateral flow and ELISA.

Four LINKBRIGHT™ kits have been launched in three pack sizes, each available in the full range of CPN™ colours and designed specifically for either antibody or oligonucleotide linkage via amine or thiol chemistries.  The quick set-up and rapid reaction times of LINKBRIGHT™ kits allow anyone to produce the research tools they need quickly and simply. More information about the kits can be found here.

Andy Chaloner, CEO at Stream Bio, said, “We are thrilled to launch the new LINKBRIGHT™ kits. Many exciting research areas can benefit from our powerfully bright CPNs™. Thanks to the speed and ease-of-use of our linkage kits, using CPNs™ in research will be much more convenient and accessible to researchers, allowing them to realise the full potential of our technology
