With facilities already in Shanghai and Beijing, Biocair recently announced the opening of its new office in Guangzhou.
Strategically located close to Guangzhou Airport, the new office improves operational capacity, and employs a team of logistics experts with comprehensive knowledge of the local customer base, transport network and import / export regulations. Temperature-controlled vehicles will join Biocair China’s existing fleet to provide efficient, secure and compliant transportation for time and temperature-sensitive biological materials.
APAC General Manager, Kevin Xu, commented:
“The new facility in Guangzhou complements our existing presence in Beijing and Shanghai, and is one of several investments Biocair is making to increase our operational capacity within the Asia Pacific region. Our team of local logistics experts based in China have ensured that, despite COVID-19 and its impact on the biopharmaceutical supply chain, Biocair has continued to maintain our customer-centric approach to logistics.”
Biocair’s continued investment in growing its global network, including the recent expansion in the USA, as well as developing industry-leading solutions for cell and gene therapy logistics, has ensured that the company has kept pace with the increased globalisation of the life sciences supply chain.
