Introducing Semper

Back in January CY Partners launched Semper, an exciting new partner organisation specialising in executive search.  We spoke to David Noble, one of Semper’s three directors about what exactly Semper does, how it differs from other executive search organisations and how it can help businesses during an uncertain time.

David has been operating in executive search for over 20 years and continues at Semper, to specialise in filling niche and difficult to fill senior roles in the life sciences, med device & nutraceutical sectors. ‘This is such a fascinating area to work in, it makes me really enjoy going to work’ David tells us.

Whilst speaking with David, he tells us about his passion for providing a great service ‘There are so many executive search firms, but I feel strongly Semper is actually different.  From inception we set out to be a quality rather than just another numbers driven organisation. We really value our clients and contacts – taking time to understand them and their organisation and to consciously step away from the merely transactional…..  Many of the people I have worked with over the years have become and remained great friends’.

With regards to the current situation, David believes passionately that by placing the right people in businesses they can be primed to assist in pushing the business forward during challenging times. ‘Through getting to know our clients well, we gain a great understanding of any issues they are facing and the direction they want to see their businesses head in the future.  We place people in positions where their skill sets and experience means they can help propel the businesses forward – It is really the opposite of finding a match on paper & then just moving on to the next assignment.’
