LFH is a top medical device consultancy company that is seeking a permanent Business Development Manager. We are open to full time as well as part time applicants between 3 to 5 days.

Our services include device development and CE/UKCA marking certification, global regulatory strategies, US FDA, quality management system creation and ongoing support to ISO 13485, internal/supplier audits, remediating audit findings, technical documentation, risk management activities to ISO 14971, clinical requirements, recalls and adverse event management, product registration, and UK Responsible Person services.
Responsibilities
To identify new business opportunities to drive sales, generate revenue, create profitability and help the business grow. The role is also to support the consultancy’s operational and financial activities.
The role is responsible for ensuring and planning that our services are positioned in the appropriate markets and that connections are built.
Develop the business development and marketing strategy
Research and identify new business opportunities in new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
Create lead generation including calling prospective customers
To develop, plan and run sales campaigns
To take part in appropriate conferences and networking events to develop relationships and sales opportunities
Be an ambassador for our services and advise others about the benefits
Work with the team to ensure that work identified can be delivered
Be responsible for developing sales forecasts and analysing current situation and making recommendations including Preparation of regular reports for senior management on business performance, challenges, and opportunities
Attend and participate in team meetings both remote and face to face.
Create, update and maintain internal LFH Regulatory business processes.
Identify, organise and attend exhibitions, conferences and network events.
Keep abreast of trends and changes in the medical devices and IVD industry
Ensure that you are up to date with trends and changes
Qualifications/skills required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
Influencing/Negotiation Skills – Is able to participate in discussions aimed at reaching an agreement
Strong Communications Skills – Be able to communicate articulately and fluently at all levels, internally and externally, in person, over the phone or via email
Excellent written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills both internally and external
Time Management Skills - Ability to support and control a multitude of activities and be able to handle multiple tasks and accounts, prioritise tasks and negotiate deadlines
Strong attention to detail skills – Able to produce work of a high quality
Creativity and imagination – Ability to generate ideas
Initiative- Ability to use judgement to get things done
PC skills using Windows software (Excel and PowerPoint)
Adaptability - ability to change your action, course or approach to suit a new situation
Analytical Skills - the ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively
Decision Making – Is able to assess a situation/issue and use good judgement to make decisions
Financial Acumen – The ability to plan, direct and control financial resource
