This role offers the opportunity to be actively involved in the creation of the BD strategy for the business.  The sucessful candidate will be ready to hunt out new opportunities as well as take over an already well established CRM and pipeline. 

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

- Lead Generation & Pipeline Development: Proactively generate leads within target markets, refining cold lead generation methods

- Client Engagement: Research client needs, secure meetings with decision-makers, deliver presentations, and nurture relationships from initial contact through to contract completion. 

- Strategic Input: Contribute to the company’s Sales and Marketing strategy and collaborate with the CEO to set and meet business targets. 

- Content Creation: Write articles for social media and scientific publications, and collaborate with the web team to ensure the company’s services are promoted effectively. 

- Event & Meeting Representation: Identify and attend industry events, meetings, and conferences to represent Alcyomics and engage with potential prospects. 

- Collaboration with Scientific & Operational Teams: Facilitate conference calls and meetings to ensure clients’ technical needs are addressed, and work with the Scientific Manager and CEO to develop study proposals. 

- Internal Communication: Maintain open communication with the management team, providing regular updates on activities and ensuring company-wide alignment with business goals. 

- Compliance & Records Management: Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and maintain accurate CRM records for client interactions and progress. 

 

Essential Requirements: 

- Strong understanding of products, assays, and services in Toxicology, Life Sciences, Safety Testing, and Immunology. 

- Proven experience in business development, with a track record of generating leads and securing new business. 

- Ability to discuss technical and scientific concepts with industry professionals and scientists. 

- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills. 

- Willingness to travel for industry events, client meetings, and business development opportunities. 

 

Soft Skills: 

  - Strong attention to detail with the ability to track multiple opportunities. 

  - Experience with quality control systems, including ISO9001. 

  - Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

 

 Education & Experience

  - Desired - Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related field. 

  - Proven experience in CRO or pharmaceutical settings, preferably with advanced therapeutics.
