The GUARDTECH GROUP are warming up for an exciting month of March with a string of exhibitions, a careers fair and an awards evening to look forward to, write Lilly Short and Izzy Griggs.
The Group will be getting into the swing of Spring with the first exhibition of three on 11-12 March – Space Comm at Excel London – where Founder Ray Wheeler will join ISO Commercial Manager Andrew Cressey and Marketing Manager Joe Shackley.
The team then head back to the same venue the following week for Advanced Therapies (18-19 March) – Europe’s largest cell and gene therapy event with more than 2,500 attendees and 250 speakers.
That same week, the Commercial Team will also be showcasing their cleanroom construction products and services at Farnborough International Space Show (19-20 March) and Marketing Manager Shackley admitted he was “buzzing with excitement” as another packed exhibition schedule looms on the horizon.
“It’s fantastic for us to be as involved with exhibitions as we are generally,” he said, “but March is a particularly special time of year. Two amazing Space industry shows, plus the UK’s biggest ATMP showcase – it’s going to be such a thrill to share what we do with some amazing applications and we’re delighted to get the opportunity to connect and network with so many inspirational individuals who work among these critical industries.”
After that trio of exhibitions is taken care of, Guardtech will then turn their attention to the Construction Careers Fair at West Suffolk College on 25 March – where they will look to recruit some of the brightest young talent in the built environment sector in their region.
“It’s really important to us as a business that we give as many opportunities as we can to hard-working and dynamic young people in our local area,” added Shackley.
“We are committed not only to bringing through the next generation of contamination control experts, but also to giving as much back to Suffolk and our communities as possible.”
The final event Guardtech will attend in March is the NEPIC Awards at Hardwick Hall in Sedgefield on 28 March.
The company is hoping to be shortlisted for the Innovation Award for their ground-breaking work in developing Cleancube Mobile Cleanrooms shipping container facilities that are tailored specifically to the needs of Aseptic Pharmacy applications.
NEPIC support the needs and interests of the processing sector in the North East of England, helping chemical & supply chain members become successful and sustainable organisations in a collaborative business environment that helps them grow.
Guardtech GMP Commercial Manager John Edwards, who’ll be attending the awards, said: “I’m really looking forward to catching up with some familiar faces at Hardwick Hall later this month.
“As someone who lives in the North East, I’m proud to say that Guardtech are members of NEPIC, as it’s a fantastic organisation that brings together so many wonderful businesses in the sector.”
