MoSMed - new studentships now available MosMed are delighted to announce that we are now recruiting to 14 new studentship positions. The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Molecular Sciences for Medicine (MoSMed) is an EPSRC funded joint venture between Newcastle and Durham  Universities aiming to train and equip the next generation of scientists and produce cutting edge research at the interface between chemistry and medicine. We welcome applications from outstanding candidates of all backgrounds regardless of ethnicity, disability, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

The CDT works across a number of research themes, including Biology of Disease, Molecule and Assay Design, and Structural Biology and Computation.

As part of our training programme, you will develop your scientific knowledge, skills as a researcher and professional, and work closely with others across the two universities, and across disciplines. We strongly believe in the benefits of our cohort experience, fostering a research culture that is at once close knit, with regular shared training and events, and outward looking towards industry, and other institutions and research areas.

At MoSMed you will be joining a research community of over 70 students, talented supervisors across two institutions, with the additional support of the MoSMed Executive, including a CDT Manager based at each institution, who will help you navigate our programme and provide you with regular updates on events, training and CDT news.

Interested? Please consult our How to Apply pages for further details on the application process at both Durham University and Newcastle University. You should also consult our Eligibility Criteria. Applications close on the 15th February 2023, so please make sure to submit before then.
