Bionabu Announces Partnership with The MedTech Foundation

London, United Kingdom, Thursday 24th March 2022 – For immediate release – Life science and healthtech community Bionabu, the industry destination for connection, conversation, and collaboration, today announces a partnership with The MedTech Foundation, the national engagement initiative for university students and early career professionals.

Together, the two organisations will promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the MedTech sphere, with a particular focus on students and the innovations that have the potential to become new MedTech companies, accelerating the development of new and improved ways to alleviate human suffering and save lives.

When asked about the collaboration, Bionabu Founder and CEO Ina Burgstaller said “The MedTech innovations we will benefit from tomorrow are being conceived today by talented students in our academic institutions. This joint venture is designed to connect MTF participants with industry experts to foster the development of novel MedTech solutions. At Bionabu, we are all very excited about what we will be able to achieve working with MTF over the months and years to come.”

The event is part of Bionabu’s commitment to nurture emerging MedTech talent in the journey from learning to earning and spotlight young innovators who have the capacity to accelerate the development of new and improved forms of diagnosis, treatment and monitoring.

Bionabu and MTF will engage with university students all over the UK to give them a better understanding of how a MedTech start up might function. Their shared mission is to help raise levels of competency in entrepreneurship, market awareness, business acumen, commercialisation, finance, and business models. It will also provide training in softer skills such as networking and self-promotion for career development, presentation skills, and marketing and technical writing.

A programme of online events is currently being planned and these will be the pulse of the initiative, at which students, prospective partners, employers, and investors can connect, continue conversations, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Students will also be given free access to the Bionabu community platform at which project sponsors are matched with collaborators.
