Phospholipids

TCI presents different Phospholipids that can be applied for controlled release dosage, drug delivery systems, and cosmetics.

Phospholipids are phosphoric acid esters of fatty acid, which are a major components of all cell membranes. As an example of lipid bilayer, liposomes have capsule structure which can contain small amounts of other molecules. Liposomes consisting of phospholipids can be applied to controlled release dosage, drug delivery systems, and cosmetics.

TCI offers a set of different phospholipids for various purposes. Among others we offer PEG-modified phospholipids that were developed to improve the retention of liposomes in blood and charge-reversible phospholipids enabling nucleic acid delivery via liposomes.
