RSSL Launches new training course to meet rising demand of ATMPs

As the growing demand for personalised medicines continues, a recent report projects that the global growth of the Advanced Therapy Medical Products (ATMPs) market will also be boosted.

This creates tremendous potential for patients and the industry alike.

Currently there are a small number of licensed products, with many more undergoing clinical trials. In addition to this, there are numerous projects in late phase development about to enter the clinical trial phase.

Current guidance has struggled to keep up with the rapid expansion of this area of product development in the Pharmaceutical arena. As companies move from the bench to requiring to needing authorised premises, they will be inspected by the Regulatory Authority and are likely to experience issues if they have not understood the applicable GMPs for ATMPs.

There is therefore a need for practical GMP guidance for these products and sharing of experiences.
