Job Title: Regional Manager
Salary: £35,000 basic per year + bonus.
Anticipated bonus ranging between £10,000 and £50,000

Overview
BioGrad Education is seeking four dynamic, results-driven Regional Managers, each responsible for one of four key regions. In this leadership role, you will oversee the management, operations, and growth of BioGrad Education’s Health & Life Science Laboratory and Clinical Programmes at your designated site.
Your primary responsibility will be leading a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, laboratory technicians, and administrators. Ensuring brand consistency and maintaining high standards of excellence across all programmes will be key priorities.
You will be accountable for managing resources effectively and driving financial success for your region, with performance-based bonuses linked to regional success. This position offers autonomy in managing your site’s operations while collaborating with other Regional Managers to maintain consistency across BioGrad Education’s regions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership
- Staff Supervision: Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, laboratory technicians, and administrators.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular staff reviews, providing feedback, setting goals, and identifying development opportunities to foster a high-performing culture.
- Team Development: Inspire and support team members through coaching, training, and guidance to align with the values of BioGrad Education.
- Senior Site Leadership: Act as the senior authority for the assigned site, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and creating a professional learning environment.
2. Operational and Regional Management
- Site Management: Oversee the delivery and performance of programmes within the region, ensuring alignment with organisational and quality standards.
- Regional Alignment: Collaborate with other Regional Managers to maintain consistency in branding, processes, and quality across all regions.
- Brand Management: Uphold and reinforce the brand values of BioGrad Education and reputation within the region.
- Engagement and Networking: Represent BioGrad at regional events, conferences, and industry networking opportunities to promote services and develop partnerships.
3. Financial Management
- Budget Oversight: Manage and monitor budgets for regional operations, ensuring cost-effective practices and financial performance.
- Financial Success: Drive financial performance at the site level, with bonuses tied to measurable success metrics.
- Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate records of financial activities, including spending, revenue generation, and resource allocation.
4. Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to attract learners
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with regional stakeholders, ensuring BioGrad Education is recognised as a leader in the field.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in managing diverse teams, including performance management and professional development.
- Demonstrable success in training or recruitment, particularly in the NHS, Universities or the Science industry.
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific, business, or education-related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with career-focused training or similar educational programmes.
- Experience in budget management, with a strong track record of cost control and resource allocation.
