Position: Consultant or Senior Consultant, Life Science Team
Location: Cambridge or Manchester – Hybrid
Salary: £32,000 - £39,600 Dependant on experience + uncapped bonus

The Role:
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and grow new business through direct sales activities and candidate management, in line with SRG's business plan. You will ensure that all clients, candidates, and colleagues receive an exceptional experience in line with SRG's promises. What’s more, you don’t need recruitment experience, we can train that bit!
The Work:
- Expand the network within key skill areas vital to our industry and leverage this to stimulate business expansion.
- Represent SRG at events to acquire new clients.
- Manage and expand existing accounts to improve overall service and spend by building great relationships and understanding their pain points.
- Build relationships based on trust with candidates across life science development and manufacturing, supporting them throughout their careers.
Required:
- Proven track record in business development, with the ability to secure new business opportunities and build strong relationships.
- Technical background or understanding of key processes in life sciences
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
- A passion for helping candidates and clients achieve their goals.
- A degree in a STEM subject or scientific experience is advantageous, but not essential.
