Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 pa, dependent on experience and qualifications plus we offer a fantastic benefits package and annual bonuses.

Cyprotex vision is to be pioneers of innovative ADME-Tox partnerships, driving delivery of safer and more effective medicines. With state-of-the-art facilities and technical expertise, we specialise in in vitro and in silico ADME-Tox services, providing a wide range of assays tailored to our client’s needs. This includes in vitro ADME screening to support discovery projects, regulatory in vitro ADME and DDI studies to support preclinical and clinical development, specialist mechanistic in vitro human and animal toxicity models and PBPK/QSAR modelling expertise. As well as supporting clients directly, we have a strong focus on R&D.
Our Alderley Park site is set in the heart of Cheshire surrounded by stunning 400-acre estate, open green spaces, sweeping viewpoints, all within easy reach of Merseyside and Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, and Shropshire. Easy access to public transport.
Due to year-on-year success of the company and continued business growth, exciting opportunities has arisen at the Alderley Park site to join our global business development team.
Within Cyprotex we are a team of seven Business Developers driving the success of Cyprotex. As a member of the business development executive team, you will be part of the larger business development executives’ team of Evotec. This allows you to draw on the contracts and resources within Evotec.
Cyprotex has seen growth in revenue continuously over several years and the trajectory forecast continues to accelerate business growth. We are an effective solution oriented and highly collaborative team that is building and refining a scalable system of delivering the best possible service to our clients. The dynamic, high level of responsibility and fast-paced working environment aimed for company internal development and progression.
This role is office based initially with some flexibility for home office working as you grow into the role. We meet twice annually for global sales meetings with Evotec and Cyprotex in the US and Europe.
Role and Responsibilities
As a business development executive, you will be working closely with the business development directors, marketing, and the senior global team. You will be responsible for researching and generating new clients, qualifying the leads for our field business development team to follow up. Managing commercial development projects, ensuring these are performed to a high standard and within scheduled timeframes.
