ITS, a leading, specialist systems integrator provides high-quality systems and solutions to customers in highly regulated sectors including pharmaceutical, medical device, biopharmaceutical, chemical and energy.
We have a defined growth strategy for the next 3 years and require a new North-West based Life Science Sales Account Manager with experience in the pharmaceutical sector to join our developing sales team to contribute towards this growth.

ITS have a marketing team that performs marketing functions in support of the sales team including email campaigns, social media and website development.
The role is fundamentally about building good relationships within these key accounts to become the “trusted advisor”, who the clients can call on to help them when they have a problem.
Ideally, we are searching for a candidate who has specific automation sales experience, ideally located near our Warrington office with experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
The role exists due to ITS’ business growth plans to increase company turnover and profitability. We require a number of Sales Account Managers to join our team. Your role will be to maintain some existing accounts while developing new accounts, implementing and continuously improving an effective B2B sales strategy, to support the development and growth of ITS. We have a set of key accounts that we work with, and it is important that the successful Sales Account Manager develops a key account plan for both current and new strategic key accounts.
• Working for the Business Development Director as part of the sales and marketing team
• Operating from the Warrington office
• Manage, search, develop and support a set of key accounts in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors
• Engage with and work in the sales and marketing team and alongside ITS' project teams
• Ability to work on own initiative
You will be based at ITS' Warrington office, reporting to the Business Development Director and have responsibility for the management and development of key accounts, to satisfy a requirement to deliver a sales target per annum, based on overall business goals.
You will need to engage and work closely with the sales team and projects team, in order to ensure that clients' requirements are satisfied, by identifying new opportunities within these key accounts, that ITS can quote and profitably win, in order to achieve the company’s sales days target, for organic company growth.
You will be responsible for demonstrating focus, value and impact from your sales activities. You will be a strong team player, an honest, curious, passionate, and innovative person with a desire to accomplish amazing amounts of work, using your judgement to define the best solutions for the business and our customers’ experience.
ITS exhibits at industry events. It will be a requirement that the Sales Account Manager supports these events.
ITS use Microsoft Dynamics CRM system to manage our client relationships, leads and opportunities. Although training will be given, knowledge, understanding and experience of a CRM system would be advantageous, as would proficiency in other Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
We are ideally looking for a candidate, interested in a long term career with ITS. The individual must be able to develop and forge strong relationships within both existing and new clients and be capable of speaking to client contacts at all levels within the organisation, however, primarily at the CxO / Senior Manager level.
