An outstanding organisation that initiated activity no earlier than January 2022 and which can demonstrate sustainability plus growth potential. The award will be judged on the quality of the company product, service or R&D initiative and acknowledges the potential for growth with the company, commercial aspects and route to market.

Bionow Project of the Year Award sponsored by   

Projects that have demonstrated a major step forward in research and generated intellectual property or demonstrated an innovative and novel approach to a problem.

Bionow Product of the Year Award sponsored by          

High-quality innovative products which have impacted significantly upon a problem or problems, identified within the life science or healthcare sectors.

Bionow Technical Service Award sponsored by   

The provision of specialist technical services which impact upon identified problems or where there is a gap in the market. These services demonstrate innovation in the service provided or within the business model utilised.

Bionow Business Support Award sponsored by   

The provision of innovative business support products and services,this award will be judged on the commitment, professionalism, creativity, and success of specialist support to businesses in the life sciences sector.

Bionow Rising Star Award sponsored by   

An exceptional individual within the first five years of their life science career or shortly following a career break or change. The individual will have demonstrated significant contribution to their current role, with the judges considering the quality and novelty of the individual’s approach, commercial potential, leadership and business development skills.

Bionow Social Impact Award sponsored by   

Activities aimed at creating significant, positive societal changes by addressing a pressing and defined challenge. These can be developed by a life science focused organisation and/or have an impact on the life sciences sector.

Bionow Partnership & Collaboration Award sponsored by   

An organisation or business in the life sciences sector that has achieved a significant commercial outcome through collaboration or partnership involving at least one life sciences industry partner plus at least one other partner from academia, NHS, charity, third sector or industry.

Bionow Internationalisation Award sponsored by   

An organisation trading their products, services and expertise overseas that can demonstrate internationalisation successes such as increased export sales, new locations, markets or products and services (including clinical trials).

Bionow Business Growth Award sponsored by   

A life sciences company either involved in the manufacture, research and development or the provision of goods or services to the life-science sector who have demonstrated significant exceptional growth over the last two financial years.

Bionow Investment Deal of the Year Award sponsored by   

In recognition of an important financial deal, which demonstrates a significant capital raise, complexity or impact in terms of advancing the technology or service towards commercialisation. The significance of the deal to the global industry is also a factor that will be considered by the judges.

Bionow Outstanding Contribution Award sponsored by   

An exceptional individual who has made a significant contribution to the life sciences sector through a sustained career within the industry.

Bionow Company of the Year Award sponsored by   

A leading, globally formidable company which has evidenced significant progress year-on-year whilst also demonstrating a particular uplift, step-change or other notable progress during the last 12-month period.
