UKHSA Diagnostic Tests for Hantavirus and Ebola Virus - Preliminary Market Engagement Notice

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is looking to gather information on diagnostics currently available on the UK market to test for Hantavirus or Hantavirus Andes strain, or Ebola or Ebola Bundibugyo strain specifically.  

This is not a call for competition, but a market research activity aimed at gathering insights from suppliers to understand the current supplier landscape and market capabilities.  

Hantavirus

UKHSA invites suppliers to complete the questionnaire, included in the Preliminary Market Engagement Notice, to gather information on the availability and suitability of Lateral Flow Devices (LFDs), PCR tests, Serology tests and rapid point of care testing devices that can detect Hantavirus or Hantavirus Andes strain. 

Interested suppliers are invited to send their Instructions for Use (IFU) number to Olivia.Okeeffe@ukhsa.gov.uk and complete the Microsoft form, included in the documentation available via the Atamis eSourcing portal, no later than 23:45 on 18/06/2026.

Ebola

UKHSA invites suppliers to complete the questionnaire, included in the Preliminary Market Engagement Notice, to gather information on the availability and suitability of Lateral Flow Devices (LFDs), PCR tests, Serology tests and rapid point of care testing devices that can detect H Ebola or Ebola Bundibugyo strain. 

Interested suppliers are invited to complete the Microsoft form, included in the documentation available via the Atamis eSourcing portal, no later than 23:45 on 17/06/2026.
