Life Sciences Innovators Set to Take the Stage at BioCap 2026 Pitching Competition
Bionow is delighted to announce the shortlisted companies selected to take part in the BioCap 2026 Pitching Competition.
Chosen from a strong field of a record number of applicants, the shortlisted businesses will pitch directly to investors, industry experts and life sciences stakeholders, showcasing their innovations, growth ambitions and funding opportunities as part of this year's BioCap programme.
About BioCap
Taking place at Alderley Park on 1st October 2026, BioCap brings together investors, entrepreneurs and life sciences leaders to explore the funding landscape and the pathways to business growth and scale.
Alongside insights from investors and successful companies, the conference offers practical discussions on investment readiness, funding strategies, commercialisation and growth, as well as valuable opportunities to connect with potential partners and investors.
The event is preceded by the Investors Mixer on 30th September, providing an informal setting for attendees to build relationships ahead of the conference.
About the pitching competition
New for 2026, the BioCap Pitching Competition will take place in person for the first time, giving shortlisted life sciences companies the opportunity to present directly to a panel of investors at Alderley Park on 30th September.
Designed for businesses seeking investment of up to £250k, the competition provides a platform to showcase innovative technologies, commercial opportunities and funding plans while receiving valuable exposure and feedback from the investment community.
Following the live pitching session, the top three companies will be selected to present on stage at the BioCap conference on 1st October, where they will pitch to the wider audience of investors, industry leaders and life sciences stakeholders, and a winner will be announced.
