What an incredible day of collaboration at Citylabs 1.0!
We were thrilled to bring together more than 100 people from Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), ABHI, and our local ecosystem partners to explore the future of healthcare.
Key highlights from the day
Visionary insights: We opened with a powerful keynote from Sohail Munshi (Joint Chief Medical Officer, MFT) on our shared strategic priorities.
Cutting-edge technology: Lukas Hughes-Noehrer showcased how MFT is transitioning from reactive to proactive care using data and wearables.
Evidence and adoption: We explored how MFT can help generate essential evidence for HealthTech development with Annie Yarwood PhD and the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Emergency and Acute Care, and examined a real‑world adoption case study through the iTap programme with Aqsa Siddiqui.
