SCENE 2026 Recruitment and Skills Fair
The SCENE 2026 Recruitment and Skills Fair provides an opportunity to meet some future talent and forge closer ties with Newcastle University
SCENE has a focus towards Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology and Biotechnology but also looks to engage with other STEM students across the Faculty of Science, Agriculture & Engineering. The event will follow a trade show format, allowing your organisation to showcase its work on a stand and inform students about workplace opportunities with you such as grad schemes and placements or just share your insights with them on hot topics, in-demand skills and future challenges and opportunities in your sector.
Event Details:
- Date: Tuesday 17 March 2026
- Time: 11:00-15:00 pm (set-up from 10:00)
- Venue: Lindisfarne Room, Hadrian Building, King’s Road, Newcastle University, NE1 7RU
- Fee: There is a charge of £10 per person attending on behalf of your organisation so we can provide them with a packed lunch and help us cover the basic costs to host this event and continue to offer more to our students regarding industrial engagement. This will be payable before the event.
If your organisation is interested in attending, please complete this Expression of Interest form, (deadline 23 February 2026). We will then contact you to request payment and further details of your staff’s requirements for the day.
