Meet Employers in Life Sciences Event

The event aims to highlight a range of opportunities and types of organisation that come under the Life Sciences banner. It will encourage informal conversations and allow students to gain a better understanding of some of the options open to them and factors they might want to consider in their career search.

 

It is open to students from all science disciplines and all year groups who are interested in a career in Life Sciences. The majority will be studying Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry and related subjects.

 

Organisations will have live roles or be planning to recruit in 2026 and could be offering graduate positions, paid summer work and or early year opportunities. Please note only a few programmes currently cater for industry placements.

 

The event will begin with an introduction from the Careers Service, followed by brief introductions from each of the organisations in attendance. Each organisation can bring 1 or 2 representatives who will then spread out around the room and students will be encouraged to circulate and talk to them to find out more. Please note that the event will not be set up like a fair.
