The successful candidate will undertake analysis for R&D and production departments – delivering results in a timely manner and within the overall scope of specified project delivery and budget. Working with the QC Team Leader, the QC Manager and colleagues within the company to ensure individual and company performance targets are achieved. Central laboratory techniques will be from HPLC, GC, and NMR.
We are hiring a Junior Analytical Development Chemist for a fine chemicals company. This role will undertake analytical projects, working with Quality Control and Research and Development. This role will be working within the analytical development team. The role will support the pipeline of research to production scale chemistry and closely liaise with colleagues in synthesis chemistry as well as providing the quality control analytical data following full scale manufacture.

A RSSL Pharmaceutical Analyst executes hands-on wet chemistry analyses such as UV, FTIR, titrations and gravimetric techniques.
You’ll ensure routine and complex pharmaceutical projects are performed promptly and to GMP standards, performing practical bench-work and transcription checking for routine analyses of pharmaceutical raw materials using wet chemistry techniques in accordance with pharmacopoeia or client methods. As required you’ll work with clients to provide technical input into project discussions.
